Adverse effects of drug may be considered harmful or unwanted effects when we intake medicines which will cure our diseases. This adverse effects caused by incorrect dosage, self medication of drugs, without consulting doctor. These effects can occur while starting medicine, changing dosage levels or sometimes after discontinued medicine. Side effects can also caused by another drug interaction with main drug. This is usually occur when patient forgot to tell doctor about allergic reactions all dietary supplements he /she intake along with medicine. The other drugs or supplements which we intake along with main drug may work aggressively than main drug thereby decreasing effect of main drug. Drug and food interactions may also cause side effect. The government should adopt strict rules when granting licence to new drug manufacturer. After granting licence govt & health authorities must monitor activities of new drug agency, if illegal activities are found for profit motive then the govt should cancel licence of drug marketing store & adopt strict rules in such a way no one can perform illegal activities again in that field to ensure public safety. This has happened in the case of Zoloft and a zoloft lawsuit has been formed to check for its righteousness. It has been causing various extreme side effects. The drug manufactures must perform several toxicity studies and clinical trials on new drugs properly before releasing them in market. If any bias happens during clinical and toxicity studies then it will directly affect general public.
